Stephen Crabb appointed Work and Pensions Secretary

I was pleased to see that Stephen Crabb, previously Welsh Secretary, has been appointed the new Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, as you can read  here.

Stephen is his own man, who will not be afraid to fight his corner or disagree with the PM or Chancellor where that is necessary, and he has shown in previous roles that he is genuinely committed to social reform.

He is an excellent choice to continue the good work which I believe Iain Duncan Smith did but I am sure that he will do so in a constructive and loyal way.
